Giving Back
When I first conceptualized this shop, I knew there had to be a component of giving back to the broader community. Since my art is medically inspired, and being in healthcare myself, I will be donating a portion of all sales to healthcare related charities doing medical research, providing advocacy, medical relief, healthcare and/or humanitarian aid. Thank you for not only supporting me, but also for supporting the health of the local and global community.
Update April 3, 2022: $400 was donated to Canada Ukraine Foundation in support of their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. An additional $400 was donated to Doctors without Borders (MSF). We hope that this small contribution will help deliver aid and assistance in Ukraine and to Ukrainians who have sought refuge in neighbouring countries.
Update October 4, 2021: We raised $300 for the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre, a local centre that supports the Indigenous community with various social and health promotional programs.

We sent $200 to Wesley Urban Ministries' Afghan Refugee Fund where they support the resettlement of Afghanistan refugees within Hamilton.

Update July 1, 2021: We raised $500 for the Aboriginal Health Centre in Hamilton! The Aboriginal Health Centre provide medical care to Indigenous persons in the region. They run a variety of programs, including Mentalh Health and Addictions Services, a FASD program, Diabetes Education program and services for Child and Youth.

Update June 2, 2021: From our launch we were able to raise $500! We donated $350 to Doctors without Borders and $150 to KBF India Covid Relief Fund.
